VRU vice speaker in open talks with Croatian ambassador A.Djamic on closer cooperation in future

During a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine Anica Djamic, the Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk stressed that Ukraine highly appreciates the consistent support rendered to the country by the Republic of Croatia in Ukraine’s struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity on the path towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Vice Speaker congratulated A. Djamic on the successful elections recently held in Croatia.

The interlocutors then exchanged views on the current situation in their countries in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as mutual cooperation in the field of tourism.

In turn, A. Djamic stressed the importance of systematic and mutually beneficial development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two states.

O. Kondratiuk and A. Djamic also exchanged views on the Ukrainian-Croatian cooperation in the second half of the current year.
