Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, states that permanent confrontation between Ukrainian politicians can result in the destruction of authoritative institutions and entire country.
"At present another surge of confrontation and struggle for power is observed. Therefore, I do not eliminate the attempts of coersive seizure of power by means of slanting the Laws in order to settle the problem of employment of certain persons or politicians", - stated V.Lytvyn at the press conference in Chernihiv on Thursday.
V.Lytvyn believes that "the society is being coaxed into the so-called political reform, so that its attention is withdrawn from the matters concerning activity of Ukrainian society". "However, it can be considered as a political reform", - he stated.
