Sitting of the Conciliation Commission of parliamentary factions (parliamentary groups)
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened today’s sitting of the commission.
He then notified that the parliament is returning to its usual routine of work.
Dmytro Razumkov spoke about the Verkhovna Rada’s work plans for the current plenary week, having noted that its agenda seems rather extensive. This week will mainly focus, as per the politician, on the fight against organized crime, the government's action programme, supporting the creative industry and many other issues.
The speaker proposed to give this Friday more time to MPs’ requests for having 273 ones already in stock.
The Chairman gave the floor to the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, who then delivered the last week performance report that stands, in fact, between two major pillars – a bill on opposition and a bill on a national referendum. The latter one, he averred, might be moved to the parliament this week. Two more bills - on stock corporations (redraft) and on intellectual property authorities - are to be soon viewed as well.
Representatives of parliamentary fractions and groups, chairmen of VRU committees spoke at the meeting, too.
The conferees decided to hear this Friday the interior minister during the "Ask the Government" hour.
The presiding officer closed the sitting of the Conciliation Commission.
