M.Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, considers Consolidation as a Necessary Prerequisite for overcoming the Recession in Ukraine
M.Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement at the meeting with the delegation of the parliamentary group of friendship "Bulgaria-Ukraine" of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria on Thursday.
M.Tomenko stressed the importance of similar meetings, as they boosted inter-parliamentary cooperation. He expressed his content with the growth of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Bulgaria, and underscored the necessity to satisfy the needs of Bulgarian minority in Ukraine.
As the Final Part of the European Football Championship "Euro-2012" is to be held in our country, M.Tomenko called on the Bulgarian colleagues to uphold Ukraine´s initiative concerning simplification of visa regime with the EU countries.
The Parties also dwelled upon Ukraine´s accession to the European Union, which will "necessarily take place", according to M.Tomenko. M.Tomenko expressed his gratitude to the Bulgarian colleagues for the exchange of experience in European integration.
Dimitar Vladimirov, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Ukraine, deems necessary to restore activity of the commission in charge of trade and economic relations between the countries.
