The Committee on National Security and Defense recommends that the Parliament adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Secret" s a Basis

The Bill (Reg. № 3664) introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine envisages the improvement of the state system of protection of official secret and activity of the state experts on secrets through the amendments to the order of official disclosure of regulatory and legal acts and allotment, re-processing and countermand of citizen access to the state security.

As it was informed the elaboration of the Bill was caused by the analysis made by the Security Service of Ukraine of the implementation of the law demands in the sphere of state security protection. The adoption of the Law is also presupposed by the Treaty form the year 2005 between Ukraine and European Union on the Procedures of Security concerning information with the limited access exchange.
