The Committee members discussed the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Trans-Frontier Cooperation" (Reg. No.4029). The Bill introduces amendments to the effective Law that determine the authorities of a specially authorized central executive body on regional policy (the Ministry of Regional Policy and Construction).
The Committee members also scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to Article 10 of the Law "Ukrainian Legislation on Public Health" (re Citizens´ Authorities in the Sector of Public Health) (Reg. No.4150).
The Committee members stated that the said Bills complied with general orientation of the European legislation in the field of protection of human rights and Ukraine´s commitments within the scope of the Council of Europe.
The Committee also scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (Reg. No.3457) that enhances requirements for production, circulation and sale of baby food.
The Committee stated that the Bill complied with the standards of European legislation.
