The Convention in question, the European Convention on Transfrontier Television and the European Fund for the Co-Production, Distribution and Exhibition of European Cinematographic Works, whose member Ukraine intends to become, are considered as basic instruments of cultural policy in the Council of Europe with the policy of most-favoured nation treatment.
Ratification of the Convention will enable Ukraine´s access to the European mechanism of support of cinematography, secure Ukraine´s participation in the European cultural programs on cooperation, and promote further development of cinematography.
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.0117.
