The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine overrode the Veto of the President of Ukraine imposed on the Law "On Temporary Inquiry Panels, Ad Hoc Temporary Inquiry Panel and Temporary Ad Hoc Panels of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine"

The Law determines the status of temporary inquiry panels, ad hoc temporary inquiry panel and temporary ad hoc panels of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, their authorities and organizational principles of activity.

 

Pursuant to the Law, a temporary inquiry panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is "a collegiate body of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine set up with the participation of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine in charge of exertion of parliamentary control by means on holding investigation on the matters of social concern".
