On occasion of the anniversary of Kobzar´s birth, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, called on the politicians for understanding and common responsibility for Ukraine´s future.
On Monday V.Lytvyn delivered a speech at the grand assembly held in village Shevchenkove of Zvenyhorod district, Cherkasy region on the occasion of the 195th anniversary of birth of T.Shevchenko. Thus, V.Lytvyn stated that "on this occasion, all persons responsible for Ukraine´s future should have gathered here for the round table discussion and answer the questions: what are we dividing, what are we doing and what are the implications of our actions for Ukraine and its citizens?"
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that he would exert every effort to restore confidence in Ukrainian authorities, and make them understand their responsibility before Ukraine.
