The Bill (Reg. No.3578) enhances legislative regulation concerning application of special permits for the use of timber resources. Thus, it specifies the types of special permits in the said sector, and establishes a requirement concerning free-of-charge issue of such permits.  

 

Pursuant to the Bill, "special use of timber resources at the allocated forest plot is exerted on the basis of a special permit a felling permit or a timber permit issued on the free-of-charge basis". The resolution concerning issue or non-issuance of a special permit for the use of timber resources is adopted within one month since the owner of the forest or forest manager submitted the documents required.
