The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine listened to the following reports:
of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine concerning Resolution of the International Court of Justice on Zmiyiny Island and adjacent Territories (commission of 19.02.2009);
of the First Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The following Resolutions were adopted:
"On Dismissal of V.S.Ohryzko from the Post of a Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine";
"On Appointment of V.O.Nalyvaichenko to the Post of a Head of the Security Service of Ukraine".
The following Laws were adopted in entirety:
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Tax imposed on the Owners of Transport Vehicles, and other Self-Propelled Machines and Mechanisms";
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Farming";
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Geological Service of Ukraine";
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Notarial System";
"On the National Program "National Action Plan on Implementation of the UN Convention on Children´s Rights" for the Period till 2016";
"On Amendments to the Law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Duty for the Development of Vine-Growing, Gardening and Hop-Growing";
"On Amendments to the Law "On Organization of Formation and Circulation of Credit Histories".
The following Laws were adopted with account for the President´s motions:
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Wine and Vine-Growing";
"On Amendments to Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine "On Payment for Land".
The President´s veto on the following Laws was overridden:
"On Governmental Support and Functioning of Children Centers "Artek" and "Moloda Hvardia";
"On Temporary Inquiry Panels, Ad Hoc Temporary Inquiry Panel and Temporary Ad Hoc Panels of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine";
"On Amendments to the Laws of Ukraine regarding Prevention of Negative Consequences of the Global Financial Crisis on the development of Agricultural Complex of Ukraine";
"On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Legal Principles of Civil Protection".
A number of Bills were adopted at the First Reading, forwarded for the repeated first and second readings, rejected.
