The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, V. Lytvyn is convinced in the Necessity of the Adoption of the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Date of the President´s Elections on 17th of January 2010
V. Lytvyn declared that "country needs determination" in order to use the period left for the presidents elections for the practical work.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that according to the Constitution of Ukraine, the elections of the President are held on the last Sunday of the last month of the 5yh year of the President´s Authority and Viktor Yushchenko swear on the 23rd of January 2005, consequently the elections should be held on the 17th of January 2010.
