The Bill (Reg. No.2137) defines legal principles of activity of the wholesale markets of agricultural production in Ukraine, regulates relations in the said field and protects the rights of agricultural producers who sale their production wholesale.
The Committee members received 43 amendments from the People´s Deputies while elaborating the Bill for the Second Reading.
The People´s Deputies upheld the amendment, pursuant to which "an association of wholesale markets of agricultural production is a contractual association set up by the wholesale markets of agricultural production in order to coordinate their activity, render mutual assistance and protect common interests".
Pursuant to the Bill, "a wholesale market of agricultural production can obtain the right of ownership, permanent use, and lease for land plots in any form of ownership within or beyond the limits of settlements irregardless of their designation, including the reserve land".
