The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Museums and Museum Studies"

The Bill (Reg. No.3020) enhances legal regulation of social relations in the field of museum studies. Thus, it defines special terms, specifies the procedure of registration and preservation of monuments of the Museum Fund of Ukraine.  

 

The Bill delineates governmental and non-governmental parts of the Museum Fund of Ukraine, extends the list of paid services and includes regulations appertaining to the attraction of extra sources of financing.
