At the plenary meeting on 19 February 2009, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scrutinized 28 issues of the agenda, including 22 Bills and 16 Draft Resolutions.
Due to the results of scrutiny:
- 9 Laws and 6 Resolutions were adopted;
- 1 Bill was adopted as a basis;
- 3 Bills were forwarded for the repeated First Reading;
- 1 Bill was returned for further elaboration to the Committee with further submission for the Second Reading;
- 7 Bills and 3 Draft Resolutions were rejected.
