The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament adopt the Bill "On State Purpose-Oriented Economic Program of the Conducting of the Monitoring of the Remains of the Veterinary Medicines and Polluting Substances in the Living Animals, Products of Animal Origin and Forage for the Years 2009-2014" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg.3402) envisages the number of actions aimed at the increase of the quality and safety of the monitoring of the remains of the veterinary medicines and polluting substances in the living animals, products of animal origin and forage, informing of the consumers on the risks connected with the use of the food products of low quality.

According to the Bill, the main aim of the program is the formation of material and technical basis for the implementation of the plans of the state monitoring, accomplishment of the actions on the confirmation o the professional level of the specialists, involved in the accomplishment of the following plans.

The Committee deems that the accomplishment of the Program will help to lower the risk of the availability of the dangerous products of low quality on the consumer market.
