Mykola Tomenko: President´s Representative should start working at the Parliament

Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, calls on the President of Ukraine to appoint a representative of the Head of State at the Parliament immediately.

Mykola Tomenko believes that failure to appoint a new representative of the President at The Verkhovna Rada after the dismissal of a former one more than one month ago is abnormal.

M.Tomenko deems necessary for the President of Ukraine and the Parliament to take joint actions in the fulfillment of anti-recessionary measures. The Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that the President of Ukraine had several times addressed The Verkhovna Rada with a request concerning adoption of relevant anti-recessionary resolutions. "The President should have appointed his standing representative at the Parliament long ago", - he stated.

M.Tomenko also assumed that the lack of a standing representative of the President at the Parliament explained the delay in the signing of adopted Laws by the President.
