V.M.Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, took part in the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of withdrawal of the troops of former USSR from Afghanistan.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine delivered a speech before the participants of the events dedicated to the withdrawal of the troops of former USSR from Afghanistan.
V.Lytvyn expressed his gratitude to the participants of the Afghan war, their mothers and fathers for self-sacrificing work and devotion to the Motherland. He referred to their deed as "a high monument to patriotism, responsibility, consciousness and morality".
Answering the questions of the journalists, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed about the issues to be scrutinized by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine next week. Thus, they include the laws on the reduction of influence of the financial crisis in Ukraine, social support of the population and transport duty.
He also predicted that the Parliament would support resignation of V.Pynzenyk, Minister of Finance of Ukraine.
