Law of Ukraine "On Organization and Order of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Activity" was adopted be the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the 8th of April 2008.
On 23rd of April 2008 the Law was rejected by the President and recommitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the motion to reject it as according to the President of Ukraine the Law contains norms that contradict with the Constitution of Ukraine and do not correspond to the ruling of the constitutional Court of Ukraine from the 1st of April 2008 № 4-рп/2008.
On the 4th of September 2008 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reconsidered the President´s of Ukraine motions adopted the Law for the second time. On the 8th of September the law was directed to the President of Ukraine in order to be signed.
Nevertheless, on the 18th of September the President of Ukraine recommitted the law to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as it stands with the new number and new signature that still does not correspond to the item 94 of the Constitution of Ukraine and ruling of the Constitutional court of Ukraine from the 7th of July 1998 № 11-рп/98 as a gro8nd for the second veto.
On the 3rd of February 2009 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has overcome the President´s Veto (393 votes) and on the 4th of February 2009 the Law was directed to the President of Ukraine.
On the 13th of February 2009 the President of Ukraine recommitted the Law of Ukraine "On Organization and Order of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Activity" without his signature with the suggestion to publish it with the signature of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine according to the part four of the item 94 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
Consequently, the Law of Ukraine "On Organization and Order of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Activity" is published officially on the web-site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and newspaper "Golos Ukrainy" with the signature if the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that occupied office of the chairman on the time of the Law adoption.
