Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the Official Visit to the Kingdom of Denmark has met the Members of the Committee on Foreign Policy of the Volketing (the Parliament of Denmark).

During the Meeting, the issues on the European Integration of Ukraine were discussed, in particular the project of the "Southern Cooperation", Ukrainian and Russian relations.

"We need the dialogue with the European society and EU countries now more than ever, - V. Lytvyn stressed It is highly important that Ukraine have the clear perspective regarding the European future".

Nevertheless, "the clear pragmatic policy regarding Russia is an essential criterion in Ukrainian society".

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced on the importance on the "holding the positions of democratic development as the world crises have tendencies to authoritarianism".

During the meeting V. Lytvyn expressed for the implementation of the simplified visa regime for the Ukrainian citizen that visit Europe.

Concerning the matter regarding the entrance into NATO he declared that the issue was not actual and of prior importance "despite the fact that the attitude towards the Alliance is build on the horror cultivated during the Soviet Union times". "Yesterday it was declared that the NATO is bad, today they speak it is good, that lead to non-understanding", - V. Lytvyn announced.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine touched upon the issues on the utilization of the nuclear rocket fuel.
