The Resolution states that the participants of the parliamentary hearings "deem necessary to improve the conditions of observance of Constitutional guarantees of citizens´ labour rights, and support the Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine and the International Labour Organization concerning the Program of Decent Labour for 2008 2011". Pursuant to the said Memorandum, the Government should elaborate the Program of Decent Labour for 2008-2011.
The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine recommends to secure development of measures to be taken to overcome the financial-economic crisis, improve legislation on social and labour issues, set up an inter-departmental group with the attraction of social partners in order to elaborate scientifically grounded standards of labour in compliance with the international standards and the modern level of technological development.
A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No.3555.
