Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Gunter Verheugen,

Vice-President of the European Commission declared for the Economic integration of Ukraine to the European Union

During the meeting with G. Verheugen at the Vice-President of European Commission request on Monday, V. Lytvyn has characterized as "extremely successful" visit of Ukrainian deligation to European Institutions.

G. Verheugen stated that "the part of the Parliament in solving of the today´s problems is decisive".

Vice-President of the European Commission declared that the aim of his visit is "to add extra dynamic to the process of European Integration". According to him Ukrainian Parliamentarians can make their contribution to the case on the legislation level. The free economics, free market, free goods circulation should be protected mutually and the protectionism should be prevented in the sphere".
