The Committee on Economic Policy recommends the Parliament adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Protection of Economic Competition" as a Basis

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg.3436) it is suggested that the amendments to the current Law should be introduced according to which the assets cost of the participants of the concentration is increased or realization of projects and the order of allocation is improved.

In particular, it was stated that "in order to withdraw from the sphere of state preliminary expenses of the market participants concentration expenses that are not able to have a sufficient impact on the state of competition within the goods markets, it is supposed to increase the level of  total annual turnover from equivalent of 12 to 50 miln. euro".

Moreover it suggested that "the norm pursuant to which the concentration needs preliminary permission that include foreign participants and the total assets value is more than 50 mln. euro should be introduced".
