The Law extends the range of persons entitled to the conditions of social security envisaged by the Law "On the Status of War Veterans, Safeguards of their Social Protection" with "wives (husbands) not married for the second time, parents, under-aged children of perished participants of combat operations, guerrillas, members of underground organizations, military servants and participants of war who served in the military subdivisions, units, headquarters and organizations in the structure of acting army in the period of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and the wars of years 1938, 1939, 1945 with imperialist Japan, were decorated with State awards and decorations of the former USSR (except of jubilee) for the combat operations".
A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No.0900.
