"I have no doubt the law on temporary committees of inquiry is one of the fundamental laws that protect Ukrainian parliamentarism. The law that regulates parliamentary control," – A.Parubiy
Opening the parliamentary sitting on July 3, Andriy Parubiy, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made a request to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to send the parliament back any answer concerning the above law as the in-between term (acceptance and signature) has lawfully elapsed.
According to the speaker, in the media there was information about the veto imposed by the president.
"Unfortunately, as the document has not yet arrived at the Verkhovna Rada, so I publicly address the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU) to send any document to this effect to the Parliament immediately. If the veto is actually imposed, we have to mobilize and overcome this veto or vote on proposals," A.Parubiy explained.
