The People's Deputies adopted the Declaration of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concerning Tragic Events after the Acts of Terrorism in the Indian City Mumbai

The Declaration states that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine denounces violent bloody acts of terrorism that took place at the end of November 2008 in the Indian city Mumbai and led to a great number of innocent victims.

 

According to the document, the tragedy in Mumbai confirms the necessity of further consolidation of efforts of international community in the struggle with international terrorism, one of the key problems of present day.

 

"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shares the grief and tragedy with its peers from the Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and the Lok Sabha (House of the People)", - reads the Declaration.

 

A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No.3446.
