To the Judiciary

I sincerely congratulate the votaries of Justice on their occupational holiday the Day of the Judiciary.

The Day of the Judiciary is a holiday of those whose vocation means a self-sacrificing service to the Law, persistent work for the sake of implementation of the law supremacy principle, reliable protection of human rights and liberties and their gradual realization in judicial practice.

The national judicial system that is being formed within the scope of European Law, aims at further democratic transformations, strengthening of judicial authority, implementation of the Constitutional safeguards of Ukrainian citizens.

At present, Ukrainian judicial system is to perfectly observe the laws, effectively protect legal and moral principles. I am convinced that justice can be administered only under the conditions of stable legislation concerning judges and the status of judges. Therefore, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will further promote development and enhancement of judicial system, legislative, financial and personnel provision of the judicial activity.

I wish sound health, happiness, family concord, well-being and new professional achievements to all the judiciary.

Volodymyr Lytvyn
