Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.2008), minimum rate of alimony for children should be established at the rate not lower than the living wage for children of corresponding age.
According to the Committee members, the minimum rate of alimony for one child is raised from 30 per cent of a living wage for a child of corresponding age to the rate of a living wage.
The People´s Deputies stressed that implementation of the Bill should be accompanied by curtailment of expenditures for the upkeep of public administration bodies.
