The parliamentary Coalition does not exist de jure, there is a political majority formed by the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, "Our Ukraine-People´s Self-Defence" Bloc, the Lytvyn Bloc and the Communist Party.
Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressed the above-mentioned opinion at the television program "Tochka Zoru" at the First National Channel.
"This Coalition does not exist de jure, as, pursuant to Part 6 of Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a coalition of Deputy´s Factions is formed on the grounds of coordinated positions. The Coalition should include not less than a constitutional majority of People´s Deputies. At present, it includes 212 instead of 226. There is a will, but no result", - stated O. Lavrynovych. However, "a political majority exists. Such a political majority formed due to the participation of the Communist Faction".
