The Bill (Reg.No.1114) defines legal principles of regulation of production and consumption of biological types of solid, liquid and gas fuel in Ukraine.
Thus, it supplements the Law "On Alternative Types of Liquid and Gas Fuel" with relevant clauses concerning solid biofuel.
The Bill establishes zero rate of excise duty on ethyl alcohol used by enterprises for production of bio ethanol and bio diesel.
The Committee members stressed that the Bill envisaged introduction of the State register of biofuel producers, which should be conducted by the body (agency) authorized by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Biofuel sold as a marketable produce by the subjects of entrepreneurship is liable to compulsory certification in accordance with effective legislation.
