The People´s Deputies, representatives of Ministries, other executive bodies, industrial enterprises, scientists participated in the hearings.
Anatoliy Hrytsenko, Committee Chairman, stated that parliamentary Committee initiated the discussion of the issue in question, since it appertained not only to the national and economic safety of the country, but also to its energy and social components.
The Committee members listened to the reports of the representatives of the Ministries of Finance, Economy, Fuel and Energy, Industrial Policy, Labour and Social Policy.
Managers of enterprises informed the People´s Deputies of the influence of global crisis on the situation at the metal manufacture enterprises, in chemical and construction sectors.
Due to the results of the hearings, the Committee will elaborate guidelines concerning possible ways of overcoming the recession.
