Mykola Tomenko: The Parliamentary Control for the Custom Reorganization is Indispensable
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is worried by the situation with the custom regional bodies. The special attention is paid to the number of publications in mass media regarfing the liquidation of Vadyl-Sirets Custom House and opening of the Chernivtsi Custom-House instead of the previous one.
As it is known, the Vadyl-Sirets Custom House is the main source of income for the Glybotsk District of Chernivtsi Region and transference of the administration bodies to Chernivtsi will have negative impact on the social and economic development of the district. M. Tomenko stressed that the decision was economically not profitable as it required 60mln.grn for building.
"Such expenditure during the state of economic crisis in Ukraine is unsuitable. The liquidation of Custom will cause unemployment and will have negative impact on cooperation with the frontier regions of Romania", - Mykola Tomenko stressed.
Mykola Tomenko appealed to the Chairman of the Committee on Taxation and Custom Policy, Sergiy Teriochin in order to take the situation regarding Vadyl-Sirets Custom liquidation and expediency of the new custom formation.
