PLENARY MEETING OF THE THIRD SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE WAS HELD ON TUESDAY, 18 NOVEMBER
At the beginning of the morning meeting, representatives of the Deputy Factions presented their motions, announcements and appeals.
Olexandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who presided over the meeting, informed the People´s Deputies about the yesterday´s sitting of the leaders of Deputy Factions, at which all the issues of the agenda failed to be conciliated.
Then the recess was announced due to the request of the Party of Regions and the CPU. After the recess, Olexandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that four anti-recessionary Bills submitted by the Government had to be scrutinized by the Parliament. However, the Bills in questions had to be scrutinized at the profile Committees at first. Therefore, the leaders of Deputy Factions called for amending the schedule of the Third Session, namely: to work upon the anti-recessionary Bills in the Committees on Tuesday and Wednesday, and to scrutinize the Bills at the plenary meeting on Thursday, 20 November.
The People´s Deputies upheld the amendments to the schedule of the Third Session by 300 voices.
Then the plenary meeting was closed.
The next plenary meeting will be held on Thursday, 20 November.
