PLENARY MEETING OF THE THIRD SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE WAS HELD ON THURSDAY, 13 NOVEMBER
Olexandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opened the plenary meeting and invited the leaders of Deputy Factions to hold a counsel in order to coordinate the agenda. Then the recess was announced.
After the recess, the Chairman informed the People´s Deputies about the results of the counsel, where the leaders of Deputy Factions passed a resolution to prepare and scrutinize the anti-recessionary laws that the Parliament had received yesterday and would still receive that day. The leaders of Deputy Factions proposed to amend the schedule of the Third Session in order to create conditions necessary for effective scrutiny of anti-recessionary Bills and their effective adoption. The amendments envisage work in the Committees on Thursday and Friday, and the next plenary meeting on Tuesday, 18 November.
243 People´s Deputies upheld the amendments to the schedule.
The People´s Deputies observed a minute´s silence in tribute to the memory of residents of Baturyn who had perished 300 years ago.
Then the morning plenary meeting was closed.
