The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster upholds the Bill on Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Regulation of Licensing Procedures

The Bill (Reg. No.3005) introduces amendments to the Laws "On Fire Safety", "On Labour Safety", "On Provision of Sanitary and Epidemic Well-Being of the Population" aimed at simplification of licensing procedures in the domain of their effect in accordance with the requirements of the Law "On Licensing System in the Field of Economic Activity". 

 

Thus, the Bill defines the licensing body authorized to issue a licensing document; a list of grounds for denial in issue and cancellation of such a document; charge or non-charge for their issue; possibility for an economic entity to obtain the right to perform certain operations related to the conduct of economic activity due to declarative principle.

 

The People´s Deputies believe that adoption of the Bill "will facilitate full-fledged introduction and realization of the principle of organizational integrity by provision of licensing procedures in the fields of fire safety, sanitary and epidemic well-being of the population, and labour safety".
