Tomorrow the Prosecutor General will inform the Verkhovna Rada about availability of evidence of illegitimate activity of the People´s Deputies.

412 People´s Deputies, representatives of all Parliamentary Factions, upheld the motion of Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, concerning immediate parliamentary scrutiny of information of the Prosecutor General concerning availability of evidence of illegitimate activity of People´s Deputies accused by Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, acting Head of Security Service of Ukraine.

"In case the Prosecutor General informs about the evidence available for at least one People´s Deputy, the Parliament should immediately launch the procedure of withdrawing deputy´s immunity and instituting criminal proceedings against a People´s Deputy. Otherwise, The Verkhovna Rada should duly respond to the active political television activity of the acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine", - stated Mykola Tomenko.

He reminded that legislation, esp. Article 80 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Clause 35 of the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, clearly defines a specific legal procedure for instituting criminal proceedings against a People´s Deputy.
