Mykola Tomenko: the Prosecutor General should stop "hunting" on the politicians by the Security Service of Ukraine
The initiator of the hearings in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the information represented by the Prosecutor General on the evidences on the illegal acts of the People´s Deputies, who were accused by the a.i. Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, Mykola Tomenko has assured that as soon as the Prosecutor general will officially address with the filings and evidences on the holding criminal liability of the People´s Deputies, there will be not a single Deputy who will hinder the scrutinizing of the issue in the Parliament according to the Law.
"If the evidences are legitimate, reasoned and sufficient then the deputy's privilege will be taken off from the People´s Deputies and the procedure of the criminal liability holding will be started. Otherwise I would like the Security Service of Ukraine to stop the "hunting" on the People´s Deputies", - the Vice Chairman declared.
Mykola Tomenko suggested that the a.i Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine stop the political talk-shows in order not to defame law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
The Vice-Chairman reminded that according to the current law the Prosecutor General exactly have the authority to be the spokesman to make the corresponding facts and evidences on the involvement of some officials in the corruption actions public.
