The People´s Deputies stressed that the importance of the hearings suggested by the bill (Re.№3055), is due to the fact that among the priorities of the state politics of Ukraine should be the following items as the active development of the relations with the Ukrainian people who live steadily abroad. their legal status, to involve them into the development of our country, the admission of the Ukrainian Diaspora as a powerful means in relations of our country with the world society.
It was stressed on the meeting that nowadays the quantity of Ukrainian citizens who live abroad constantly (according to the official censuses) is from 16 to 20 million people.
