The Plenary Meeting on the 8th of October

ON WEDNESDAY THE 8TH OF OCTOBER THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE CONTINUED WORK IN THE PLENARY REGIME.

At the beginning of the meeting Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, sent his greetings to the lawyers of Ukraine on the occasion of the occupational holiday.

A. Yatseniuk has informed the People´s Deputies on the fact that the consultations with the President of Ukraine have come to the end. He suggested to hold the meeting with the chairmen of the Deputies Factions and announced the recess.

After the recess A. Yatseniuk announced that it would only be possible to scrutinize any laws on the financing and the holding of elections after the resolution on the termination of the Verkhovna Rada´s of Ukraine authorities was promulgated. All the Chairmen of the Deputies Factions have supported the decision.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that the President of Ukraine declared that "if the coalition is formed it is highly possible that the Parliament continues its work".

A. Yatseniuk expressed doubt that any coalition would be formed and stressed:" if someone still has the desire to form mega coalition (left and right parts) or only mini coalition (classical right part) and under such a coalition will be 226 votes I will immediately inform the President that there is no need to dissolve the Parliament".

The meeting was closed.
