The Bill (Reg. No.2581), submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, presents a new version of the effective Law. Thus, it defines basic legal and economic principles of planning and funding of governmental defense order, and regulates relations appertaining to determination and implementation of procedures related to purchase of production, performance of works and rendering of defense services.
The Bill also defines the authorized body in charge of coordination of defense order, the executor of defense order, and secures supervision over fulfillment of defense order.
The Committee members upheld the Bill, as its adoption "would enhance the procedure of formation of governmental defense order, coordinate effective law with the Law "On Organization of Defensive Planning" and with the requirements of the Budget, Economic and Civil Codes of Ukraine".
