ON WEDNESDAY, THE 12TH OF NOVEMBER THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE CONTINUED ITS WORK IN THE PLENARY REGIME
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatseniuk stressed at the beginning of the morning meeting that the decision on the hearings of the information represented by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Oleksandr Medvedko regarding the illegal actions of certain People´s Deputies and on the criminal cases with the involvement of the People´s Deputies.
The Chairman announced the presence of the Prosecutor General on the meeting.
The People´s deputies presented the appellations, claims and suggestions.
Then A. Yatseniuk announced the demand o the two factions The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and Our Ukraine People's Self-Defence to announce the break. The Chairman also stressed on the importance of finishing of the voting, that was started yesterday on the dismissal from the post of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The break was announced.
Stressing on the importance of the impartiality during the voting, A. Yatseniuk put the bill of the Resolution on the dismissal of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, A. Yatseniuk from the holding the plenary meetings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The bill was suggested by three Factions: Party of regions, The Lytvyn Bloc and Communist Party of Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution by 231 votes.
After the adoption of the Resolution, A. Yatseniuk has left the session hall. The further meeting was held by the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lavrynovych.
The People´s Deputies expressed on the motives of the voting. During delivering of the speeches the People´s Deputies from The Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc have blocked the work of the technical complex of the "Rada" system. The Chairman tried to put the issue on the acceptance to the agenda of the bill of the Resolution №3351-П, on the mode and the way of voting during the election of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine but the try failed because of the blocking of the "Rada" system. Consequently the break was announced.
After the break the bill of the resolution, that presupposes that the election of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are held in a call of the roll way by the open voting during the Plenary Meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was adopted by 231 votes.
According to the next voting ("for" 233 votes) Arseniy Petrovych Yatseniuk was dismissed from the post of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine according to the application supplied by him.
The Chairman announced the break. After the Break the Prosecutor General, Oleksandr Medvedko has informed the People´s Deputies on the state of the struggle against corruption in State and also has informed on the concrete dictums made by the Leaders of the Security Service of Ukraine.
