Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, appealed to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine with a request to supplement the agenda of the next plenary meeting with a constitutional appeal of 51 People´s Deputies of Ukraine concerning official interpretation of regulations of Part 2 of Article 90 of the Constitution of Ukraine of 29 September 2008. 

In the official letter of the Head of the Parliament to Andriy Stryzhak, Head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, A.Yatseniuk makes a request to facilitate scrutiny of the issue in question "in view of constitutional authorities and urgent need in official interpretation of relevant regulations of the Constitution of Ukraine concerning the moment of termination of authorities of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in cases envisaged by Article 90 of the Fundamental Law of Ukraine due to publication of the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On Early Termination of Authorities of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Sixth Convocation and Appointment of Early Elections" on 10 October 2008".
