Speaker A.Parubiy starts his assembly visit to Tbilisi

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.Parubiy has commenced his working visit to Georgia to take part in the Inaugural session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Georgia-Moldova-Ukraine

In the course of the session, the Chair delivered his complimentary speech. The visit programme also provides for a signing ceremony of the Assembly’s articles.

A joint news conference of the three speakers shall take place after completion of the session.

The Speaker A.Parubiy will also meet with Ilia II, His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi and Metropolitan bishop of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia.

In the course of the conference, there will be a range of panel discussions on the Black Sea security, counteraction to fake news and anti-Western propaganda, parliamentary cooperation.

Ukrainian parliamentarians Hanna Hopko, Khvycha Meparishvili, Pavlo Ungurian, Ivan Kyrylenko, Anna Romanova, Nataliia Korolevska, Dmytro Linko are also in attendance at the conference events.

The conferees will be offered opportunities to communicate with the press.
