On 13 October 2008, in the article "Yatseniuk goes into the Internet" newspaper "Delo" published information concerning allocation of funds by the Parliament´s Secretariate for reorganization of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine web-site and creation of a personal web-site of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In view of the situation around the issue in question, we inform that the web-page of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has long been in need of update due to the lack of searching mechanism, overload of the structure, lack of on-line connection with the customers, users´ forum, etc.
Moreover, the web-site of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine fails to include a separate page devoted to the activity of the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Vice-Chairmen; which fails to comply with modern requirements to the information policy of the legislative body of Ukraine. Therefore, in Year 2006 the Computer Systems Office of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate faced a task to develop a technical project for creation of a new web-site, which was hampered by previous parliamentary elections.
