During the meeting the issues on the security in particular the situation in Caucasian region and Ukrainian European Integration were discussed.
Borys Tarasiuk stressed that "military aggression of Russian Federation against sovereign country of Georgia is a challenge to the modern system of international relations, international global order and the total neglect of the basic principles and statute of UNO".
Gunther Krichbaum stressed on the importance of the Treaty on Association that is planed to be concluded during the next year between EU and Ukraine. He also accentuated on "the significance of this step of Ukraine to EU".
Moreover, the perspectives of the settlement of the frozen conflicts, the present situation of Russian-Ukrainian relations and the perspectives for the European and Euroatlantic integration of Ukraine were discussed.
