The meeting was organized by The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations jointly with the Institute for Agrarian Market Development.
Attendants of the meeting dwelled upon the issues concerning State regulation of activity of grain depositories. They commented on Ukrainian experience of use of storage documents at the Ukrainian grain market, and use of storage documents system as a financial instrument of investment into the grain production and harvest insurance.
The participants of the meeting signed the Protocol, pursuant to which the GUAM member States are recommended to set up a standing working group to elaborate the project of creation of a single coordinated system of grain storage documents, and define the Institute of Agrarian Market Development of Ukraine as its technical coordinator.
