The head of the Temporary Inquiry Panel the investigation of the Kyiv Council activity, Mykola Tomenko stated that the procedure of the work of elaboration of the plan was conducting very " secretly".
He states that the prompt aspiration of the government to adopt the General Plan without the wide discussion is aiming at make scandal allocation of areas and infringements in the sphere of nature consuming legal.
The Vice-Chairman declared that yesterday the Commission adopted the preliminary report and it is fixed there that in year 2007 the city council has adopted 96 resolutions on introducing the amendments to the General Plan regarding the reduce of the areas of green plantations. "That is in the previous year almost in 100 times the Kyiv government has violated the General Plan" indicated M. Tomenko.
That is why he is convinced that the Kyiv government will held professional and public discussion of the General Plan and not to make this main document "secret and private"
