The Law introduces amendments to the Law "On the Security Service of Ukraine", pursuant to which an acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine assumes the authority of a Head of the Security Service of Ukraine appointed due to the Constitution and the Laws of Ukraine, in case of his absence. The acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine is appointed and dismissed by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine due to the proposition of at least one third of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine from the constitutional composition of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
A relevant Bill (№3086) was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
