The Law determines the order of joint-stock companies creation and their liquidation, their legal status, rights and obligations of stick-holders.
It is regulated that the activity of the state joint-stock companies and state holding companies are regulated by this legislative act taking into the consideration the peculiarities determined by the peculiar laws.
According to the law, joint-stock company it is the economic enterprise, statute asset of which is divided among the certain amount of stocks of the same nominal value. Joint-stock company "can be formed by the promotion or merger, division or the transforming of enterprising organization (organizations), state, municipal and other companies into joint-stock ones."
The company can be considered as created from the date of its state registration.
