A new version of the Convention extends the list of infringements in the field of nuclear safety, requirements for the physical protection of nuclear material during its storage, use, transportation, etc. The amendment extends the effect of the Convention not only on the nuclear material, but also onto nuclear facilities.
A relevant Bill (№ 0046) was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
